PHILOSOPHY
I've a long-standing interest in Philosophy and belong to the wonderful Pinner Philosophy Group, chaired by Paul Skidmore - http://pinnerphilosophygroup.org.uk/
Over the post few years I've given presentations on the Philosophy of Law, Leibniz, the Collapse of the Fact Value Dichotomy, the Philosophy of Mind and, most recently, the Philosophy of Disability.
It's an extraordinary group with a regular weekly attendance of 40+.
There's a connection here with my poetry, some of which features possible ramifications of the problem of induction (what would happen if the colour green suddenly disappeared); the problem of evil (could a god have intervened to save Hitler from assassination?)
